Lisa Perrotti-Brown in Wine Advocate writes: "Produced from 100% Shiraz, the 2010 Amon-Ra displays a deep purple-black color and aromas of cedar, baking spices, lavender, chocolate and vanilla over a core of creme de cassis, black cherry pie and dried plums. Very full bodied and densely packed with layered warm berry, earth and spice flavors, it has a solid backbone of medium to firm fine grained tannins and crisp acid, finishing long with some hints of dried Provence herbs and black pepper coming through. Consider drinking it 2014 to 2024+."
Harvey Steiman in Wine Spectator writes: "A dark, brooding and dense wine, delivering dried cherry, carpaccio and spice flavors, which linger on the broad finish. Has layers and layers of depth, all balled up and waiting to open with time. Best from 2014 through 2020. 1,200 cases made."
