Marziano Abbona, in conjunction with winemaker Beppe caviola, has consistently produced over the last decade about the finest series of value Piemontese reds that we can recall. Quality high, prices fair, winemaking excellent, packaging smart, what more could you ask? Well..if we were really jerks we could ask them to knock another 50% off their already low prices. And heavens to Betsy what do you know? A distributor change has caused the old supplier to move out some great Abbona wines at fire sale prices, and anytime we smell a fire, we’re always open to throwing a little gas on it.
