It’s like a broken record, but a good one. This has been our go-to Chardonnay for four vintages running, made from a mix of Central Coast fruit by Varner Winery, an excellent producer known for their European sensibilities when it comes to Chardonnay. No malo-lactic, no oak, just vibrant fresh flavors of lemon, tropical fruits and a slight honeyed note. You can’t do much better for this kind of fare. Advocate 90 for the fifth year in a row.
