Colle del Giachi ."Produced from a blend of Frantoio (60%) and Moraiolo (40%) olives from the calcium-rich soils of the high hills of Chianti where the olive trees throw a very small crop of fleshy, low-acid, characterful olives. In terms of its balance of flavour and finesse this is the finest of all the Giachi live oils. Chianti Classico now has its own olive oil appellation, a D.O.P (Protected Denomination of Origin) for this type of oil, and the family has joined the producers' consortium, accepting all of its regulations and the additional costs which they imply."  Imported from Italy. 500ml.
